Dr. Wenli Yu was born and raised in China. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine degree from Peking University School of Stomatology and then obtained a master’s degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery where she focused her interest in research and surgical management of cleft lip and palate. She came to the United States and obtained her Ph.D from Baylor college of surgery in Biomedical Science. Dr. Yu then finished an international dental program from Minnesota where she obtained both her DDS and dental license. She was driven by her interest in oral surgery and completed her Oral and Maxillofacial surgery training from Highland Hospital, Alameda Health System. It is there that she broadened her scope training in dental implant, facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, TMJ surgery, and pathology.
